Shipping Policy

Shipping

Thank you for choosing Unpractical. Every order has two stages, and it helps to know which one yours is in.

Processing is the time it takes us to prepare, pack and dispatch your order. Delivery is the time your parcel spends with the carrier after that. The shipping option you pick at checkout affects delivery, not processing.

Processing time

Ready to ship items: most orders leave us within 1 to 7 business days. During a restock or a heavy release week it can run a little longer, and we will always email you if it does.

The most accurate estimate for your specific item is always the one shown on its product page in the WHEN WILL THIS ITEM SHIP? box at the time you buy. If that differs from the range above, the product page applies.

Pre-orders

Pre-order pieces are made to order, so they work a little differently. There are three stages, and it helps to see all three rather than just the first one.

1. Production: about 4 weeks. This is your piece actually being made. Nothing ships during this stage.

2. Processing: 1 to 7 business days. Once production finishes, your order joins the normal queue to be packed and dispatched, exactly like a ready to ship order.

3. Delivery. Then the standard delivery time for your region, listed below.

Added together, most pre-orders reach you around 7 to 8 weeks after you place them. We will email you tracking the moment yours ships, and if production runs long we will tell you rather than leave you guessing.

Delivery time, once your order has shipped

United States: 7 to 14 business days

Canada: 6 to 12 business days

Everywhere else: 8 to 16 business days

Some destinations sit at the longer end of that range fairly consistently, so if you are in central Europe please plan closer to two weeks than one.

Tracking

Every order ships with tracking, and the number is emailed to you the moment it leaves. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder first, then write to us and we will resend it.

Pre-orders and ready to ship

Every item is ready to ship unless its product page specifically says Pre-order. If you order a pre-order item alongside something in stock, we will usually send the in stock piece first rather than hold your whole order, and you will get a separate tracking number for each parcel.

International duties and customs

For orders shipping outside Canada and the United States, any duties, customs charges or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient. These are set by your country, not by us, and we cannot calculate them in advance.

Sizing

Sizing charts are on every product page. Please check them before ordering, as most exchanges we handle are size related and it saves you the wait.

Lost, stolen or tampered packages

Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, we are not able to take responsibility for it going missing. Please contact your local postal carrier to trace it or file a lost package report, and let us know at support@unpractical.ca so we can help with the carrier claim.
